Carpe Diem - Commentary and Apology

I feel obligated to comment on my previous post due to the obvious mediocrity of the content. I suspect that the issue with it was the incredible lack of originality and intellectual complexity, but this was not without reason. It was not meant to be in any way an original or even good, really. It was a mere expression of an aversion to our constant need to reference ourselves and our actions in accordance with the time around us and not the time we are in. As this has already been done and redone,  I thought there was no point in busting my considerable intellect [for the people that do not have one: INSTALL SARCASM DETECTOR HERE] trying to find yet another formulation of the cliché motto: carpe diem. Thus I decided to start directly from the motto, and complete my thoughts on what its fullest applications can be, while being fully aware that I am repeating the repeated. In sum, I would mostly like to apologize to anyone who has read that post and all the way here in this one, for really, I am preventing what I am preaching. I am sorry for the time you have just lost.
